Shipping & Returns

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We currently ship within India and internationally using trusted partners like India Post and Shiprocket (FedX, Amarex, SRX, DHL, etc)

Domestic Shipping:

  • Dispatch time: 3–6 weeks from order confirmation (made-to-order timeline)

  • Shipping Time: 3–7 business days after dispatch

  • Standard shipping rates apply or free shipping above a specific order value (if applicable)

International Shipping:

  • Partnered with Shiprocket global shipping service 

  • Timeline: 8–20 business days post dispatch (depending on country)

  • Customer can avail for expedited shipping either directly during checkout or  you may contact us and we process expedited shipping for your purchase manually.  

  • Customs and duties, if applicable, are to be borne by the customer.

Shipping Notifications: Once your item is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number and notification via email or SMS. We are here to support you every step of the way.

1. Once your order is placed, we begin preparing it with care. Orders from The Formless Living are typically dispatched within 3 to 5 working days, unless otherwise specified on the product page or communicated at checkout. We use trusted partners such as India Post or Shiprocket for domestic and international deliveries. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected.

2. All orders will be delivered within 30 working days from the confirmation date unless otherwise stated. Should any delays arise, we will inform you promptly and keep you updated.

3. If your order is delayed beyond 30 working days and no mutual agreement is reached, you are entitled to cancel your order and request a full refund.

4. For smaller parcels, your package may be delivered directly to your mailbox. Otherwise, you will receive a notification (via SMS, email, or mail) to collect your parcel from a nearby post office or delivery point. Kindly follow the pickup instructions within the time window provided.

5. In case a parcel is not collected within the specified timeframe and is returned to us, a re-shipping and administrative fee may apply. The fees are as follows:

  • INR – ₹300

  • USD – $20

  • EUR – €20

  • GBP – £20

  • Other currencies – equivalent of $20 USD

We encourage you to track your parcel and collect it in time to avoid additional charges.

6. If your order includes items from different categories or makers, they may be shipped separately. You will receive individual tracking numbers for each package once they are dispatched.

7. The Formless Living is committed to ensuring your parcel reaches you in perfect condition. If your package arrives visibly damaged, or you suspect internal damage, please:

  • Take clear photographs of the packaging and/or damaged item.

  • Report the damage to the courier or postal service on the day of delivery, if possible.

  • Email us at care@theformlessliving.com within 5 working days of receiving your parcel.

We will work with you to make things right. Kindly open and inspect your parcel as soon as possible after delivery to ensure a smooth resolution if needed.

Return & Refund Policy

At The Formless Living, each piece is consciously made-to-order with deep care and intention. We do not hold excess inventory, and every product is created specifically for you. Because of this, we are unable to accept returns or offer exchanges on any pre-ordered or made-to-order products unless they arrive damaged or with a manufacturing defect.

We accept returns or exchanges only if:

  • The product received is damaged or defective.

  • You notify us within 48 hours of receiving the item.

  • You provide clear photos of the issue for verification.

  • If you choose to initiate a return, you're responsible for the care and condition of the item from the time it’s received until it reaches us again. Returns should be initiated by emailing us at care@theformlessliving.com with your name, order number, product name, and reason for return. You’ll then receive detailed return instructions.

  • Please don’t send anything back before receiving confirmation and return instructions from us.

  • Returned items must arrive in their original condition and packaging — unused, unwashed, and safely packed. If the condition of the product is altered or damaged in any way, a partial refund or deduction may apply.

  •  The return shipping cost and any transport risks are your responsibility. Please ensure your package is sent using a traceable service and keep proof of postage and tracking details until your return is received and confirmed by us.

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund using the original payment method. We’ll notify you as soon as your return has been accepted.

  •  If you'd like to exchange a product, it will be handled as a return followed by a new purchase. After returning the original item as described above, you can place a fresh order for the item you'd like instead.

  •  Custom, made-to-order, or personalized items are not eligible for returns or exchanges, as they are created specifically for you with care and intention.

Once your request is approved, we will offer:

  • A replacement piece.

  • A credit note for future use.

Please note:

  • Color and texture variations are natural in handmade, small-batch products and are not considered defects.

  • We do not accept return or exchange requests for reasons such as change of mind, wrong size ordered, or delivery delays due to external factors.
